Operator and contact

QUBIT CODES operates Kalavara from Ernakulam, Kerala, India. For privacy questions, access or correction requests, deletion requests or grievances, email support@qubit.codes. We will verify requests as appropriate to protect the people whose information is involved.

Information we process

We process enquiry names, restaurant names, email addresses, phone numbers (required for demo requests, optional for general enquiries) and messages; account and restaurant details; staff permissions; installation identifiers and activation records; and operational information entered by your restaurant, including customer details and orders. Technical logs may include request, device and security information needed to operate and protect the service.

Why we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries, provide and administer subscriptions, authenticate users, separate restaurant workspaces, manage access, process the restaurant’s workflows, provide support and protect against abuse. Submitting an enquiry permits contact about that enquiry, not an unrelated marketing subscription.

Restaurant responsibilities

For customer and staff data that a restaurant enters, the restaurant determines its business purpose and is responsible for lawful collection, notices and instructions. Kalavara processes that data to provide the restaurant’s service. Customers should contact their restaurant for questions about food orders, delivery or the restaurant’s handling of their information.

Providers and disclosure

Hosting and technical service providers process information needed for their functions. Android phone authentication may use Firebase/Google; other configured authentication flows may use MSG91. We do not publish authentication secrets. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect rights and security, or under authorised support and service arrangements. Provider processing locations may differ from your location.

Storage and retention

Access controls, tenant boundaries and authentication protect data, although no system can promise absolute security. We keep information for service delivery, security, accounting and legal needs. Retention depends on the record and obligation; contact us for a specific export or deletion request. Backup copies may remain until their normal rotation.

Your choices

You may request information about your data, correction, access or deletion, and raise a grievance using the contact above. Requests involving restaurant-controlled data may require the restaurant’s instruction. Applicable statutory rights remain available; retaining a record may be necessary to meet a legal obligation.

Website and demo requests

The website uses essential session and security cookies and a locally saved theme preference. There are no optional analytics or advertising trackers configured on the marketing site. Demo requests are stored for our team to arrange a demonstration. The public website does not provide a self-service restaurant demo or shopping checkout.

Updates

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The date on this page identifies the current version. Material changes affecting service users will be communicated through appropriate channels.
